When my wife first said she wanted to host our wedding reception at home, I’ll admit I was a little unsure. We were talking about 40 guests for afternoon tea and then another 70 joining us for the evening—surely that would be chaos? But what she pulled off wasn’t just a wedding reception. It was a beautifully thought-out, warm, personal experience that no venue could have ever matched.
Every tiny detail was intentional—from the vintage china to the flowers, to the way the garden felt like a secret escape. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. It looked incredible, but more than that, it felt right. It felt like us.
Seeing how much people loved what she created—and how naturally it all came to her—I wasn’t surprised when everyone said, “You should do this professionally.” And I’m so glad she listened. Willow and Bea was born out of love, creativity, and the desire to help other couples feel the way we felt that day: completely at home, completely ourselves, and completely surrounded by beauty.
